RETURNED on Oxford School of Law's Border Criminologies

Andrea WiseComment

The frustrating thing about working on projects about systemic social issues is that you want things to change, and rarely do you get any sort of indication about whether your not your work is actually doing any good. So when the editors of the Border Criminologies blog at Oxford University's School of Law asked me if I'd be willing to author a guest post about RETURNED, I was thrilled. It's one thing to get these portraits out and seen by the photography community, and CPOY is great for the ego a bit but it's an entirely different thing to get the work in front of an international audience of law students and academics who might actually be able to shape the policies and procedures surrounding forced migration which disrupts families and communities around the world.
